He states from day one he will not attack his Democratic competitors during the debates or on the road. HE HAS KEPT HIS WORD. But you ignore him. He brings forth the most comprehensive legislative ideas of any candidate to include Women’s rights, LGBT equality, National health care without forcing everyone on Medicare, Veteran care, Small business building using the money to assist women and minority groups. But you ignore him.

Though El Paso is a safe community, we are part of a country that is violent. A country that has failed to adopt laws that would allow us to perform a background check on everyone who wants to own a firearm. One that still allows weapons designed for war to be sold into our communities. We lost 40,000 of our fellow Americans to gun violence last year — inexplicable but for the stranglehold that the gun lobby has on Congress and the White House, and the fear that our elected representatives have of the NRA.
What is Life Worth America?
Today we ask, What is Your Child’s life worth? What is your Mom or Dad’s life worth? What are your spouses, or significant other’s life worth? Can you put a dollar sign on it? The politicians who continue to propagate the lies and free reign of laws associated with the 2nd amendment, prices your loved ones by the dollars that they gain from the NRA.

“There’s no amount of money, there’s no one TV moment,” O’Rourke said. “It’s really the willingness to bring everybody in and make sure no one is taken for granted or written off that does this at the end of the day. And, uniquely among the campaigns, we’re running for president in that way. And I feel good about that.”
Debating the Debates…
The viewers of both nights of debates saw rudeness, interruptions, unfounded accusatory statements, hogging the time, and screaming. This is not by any stretch of the imagination, respectful, courteous, integrity-driven or statesman. From Bernie Sanders being Bellicose to Elizabeth Warren bullying the time, to Joe Biden spending his time defending his 40 years of political service to arguments on the left and right, only Beto O’Rourke stood for those qualities that any American would cherish in their next president.
What America Really Needs
In America, a leaders responsibility is to the individual citizens of these United States, not to a party, not to a Lobbyist, or PAC, but the individual.
